Making

Things built with my own hands. Plywood, bamboo and patience

Computation is half the story. The other half is a workshop. Designing and building furniture keeps the digital work honest, every tolerance, joint and material limit I script against is one I have also cut, sanded and misjudged by a millimetre.

The pieces here include a record player shelf in acrylic and steel, a plywood media console and desks designed and built for the Choco Studio flat, and bamboo furniture explorations, a chair and stools, that grew out of the gridshell work and a fascination with the material’s bend and spring.

Some are drawn parametrically and cut digitally. Some are just made. Both count.

Let’s build something together.
